Reo: the Prince of Bouyon

Reo is one of the faces of Dominica’s new bouyon generation. Nicknamed the Prince of Bouyon and nominated at the Caribbean Music Awards 2026, he pushes the genre toward the French Antilles without ever taking his eyes off his island.

Joli BB, the bridge with Martinique

His track Joli BB, with the Martinican singer Maurane Voyer, illustrates the bouyon of 2026: a Dominican production, a Martinican collaboration, an audience shared between Roseau and Fort-de-France. Bouyon Shattaz published the track as soon as it came out and follows Reo as one of the artists at the crossroads of the two bouyon worlds.

The next generation of Dominican bouyon

Reo belongs to the generation that has to turn the legacy of WCK into an international career: its own distribution, a polished image, collaborations in the French Antilles. That is exactly what is at stake in the network Bouyon Shattaz is building.
