Bilix: verifiable records, a biography still to be written
Published October 20, 2026
Bilix is a bouyon artist linked to Guadeloupe whose public file is, to say it up front, thin: no published biography, no interview found, no official site opened during this research. What exists is a run of verifiable records on Shazam, spread from 2016 to 2021, including a single with Triple Kay International, the major bouyon band from Dominica, and a writer name that keeps returning in the credits, Franck Offranc. This profile gathers exactly those pieces, flags what the one available analytics page claims without corroboration, and refuses to fill the blanks with invention. It is a short profile because the file is short, and it says so.
What the public record really contains
The Viberate analytics page devoted to Bilix presents him as an artist born in Guadeloupe and classifies him in African and Caribbean music, with an audience measured first in France. This profile takes up the Guadeloupe origin with that precise attribution, because no stronger source, neither biography nor press, was opened to confirm it. The same Viberate page credits him with prestigious stages, from the Olympia in Paris to the Zenith in Toulouse and the Palais des Sports in Marseille, plus African festivals in Lausanne and Paris. None of those claims could be corroborated on any other source during this research: they are therefore flagged here as unverified, not repeated as facts. The only stage appearance attached to his name in the opened results is an artist list for the Karukera One Love Music Festival published by Viberate itself.
The rest of the file is made of song credits, and those credits are solid. On Shazam, the writer name Franck Offranc returns on “Sa Ka Débodé”, “Bay Li”, “La fille de la personne” and “Dynamite”. This profile notes that recurrence without drawing a conclusion from it: no opened source states that Franck Offranc is Bilix real name, and it would be dishonest to claim it. In bouyon gwada, where many artists work with a house writer, a recurring credit can point to the artist himself or to his main writer. The reader is therefore told the fact, and its limit.
What the records do show unambiguously is a positioning: Bilix works between Guadeloupe and Dominica, in Creole and French, on productions classified at 160 BPM, the tempo of fast bouyon, with partners from both islands. It is that positioning, documented record by record below, that earns him a place on our bouyon artists pages, between the Gwada branch and the Dominican source.
The documented records: 2016 to 2021
The oldest documented record is “Sa Ka Débodé”, featuring Mr Boka, released on 12 January 2016 by the label Ôréveil according to Shazam, which classifies it at 160 BPM and credits Dj Weez and Lsbeatz litleboy as composers and Franck Offranc as songwriter. The record remains, years later, one of those Viberate ranks among the artist most streamed, which makes it his most durable signature in the available data.
On 23 November 2018, Bilix appears on “Sang (Remix)”, a collective Daly record released by Hitmaker army on the album “One Man Gang”, alongside Keros-n, Warped, Lighta, LilLow, Arsonist, Pon2mik, Drexi, Kriler and Marik. That posse cut format, where ten voices share one riddim, is a common practice on the French Antilles dancehall and bouyon scenes, and it places Bilix inside the collective circuit of his generation.
The most significant record in the file arrives on 25 July 2019: “Miel Pop”, credited to Bilix and Triple Kay International, released by Turnt Up Tv and classified as English language by Shazam. Triple Kay is one of the major bands of Dominican bouyon, the very band which, according to the testimony published on this site, popularised the bouyon soca started by Dada in 2003. A credited collaboration with Triple Kay International therefore connects Bilix catalogue directly to Dominica, the source island of bouyon. It is the strongest fact in this profile, and it is fully checkable on the record page.
Two further collaborations frame that period. “Bay Li”, with YMW, credits YMW and Franck Offranc as writers and DWAYNE SKERRIT and Anne Arrindell as producers. “La fille de la personne”, released on 25 January 2021 by Cpascho Production, brings together Blicassty and Bilix with Natoxie featured, credits Offranc Franck and Lucas Duranty as writers, and still ranks among Bilix most streamed records on Viberate. Add “Dynamite”, with Sissy, and “Vendetta”, a Warped record featuring Bilix. Viberate further lists “Ti KoKa”, “Canicule”, “Mango la mi”, “Passe me voir”, “Allez les bleus”, “Wine”, “Koke La Chante (Canefield Riddim)”, “LOVE MENTAL” and “Tu le mérites”, plus a “Koupé” dated 2023: those titles are cited here with their source, for lack of detailed pages opened for each one.
The Guadeloupe and Dominica bridge, and the limits of this profile
Read together, this small catalogue draws a path consistent with the history of the genre. Bouyon was born in Dominica at the end of the 1980s, it became the party sound of Guadeloupe, where it is also called jump up, and its artists have circulated between the two islands for thirty years. Bilix, as his credits show him, belongs to that circulation: a Guadeloupe anchored single from 2016, a collective Antilles circuit record in 2018, then the Triple Kay International collaboration in 2019. Our bouyon gwada page tells that whole story, and our history of bouyon places it from Roseau onward.
This profile finally owns its main limit: it cannot tell the man. No age, no town, no training and no artist statement appears in the opened sources, and no verified official account was confirmed, so no social link appears in this page schema. If a biography, an interview or a fuller official catalogue appears, this profile will be completed, dated and corrected like every page on this site. In the meantime, listening starts with “Sa Ka Débodé” and “Miel Pop”, then with our bouyon playlist.

Frequently asked questions
Who is Bilix?
Bilix is a bouyon artist presented as born in Guadeloupe by the Viberate analytics page, the only biographical source opened during this research. His verifiable file is a catalogue of records between 2016 and 2021, including Sa Ka Débodé with Mr Boka, Miel Pop with Triple Kay International and La fille de la personne with Blicassty and Natoxie.
What is Bilix most important record?
On the documentary level, Miel Pop, released on 25 July 2019 by Turnt Up Tv and credited to Bilix and Triple Kay International. Working with one of the major bands of Dominican bouyon connects his catalogue to the source island of the genre. On the listening level measured by Viberate, Sa Ka Débodé (2016) remains among his most streamed records.
Is Franck Offranc Bilix real name?
Nobody can state that from the opened sources. The name Franck Offranc returns as a writer in the Shazam credits of several Bilix records: Sa Ka Débodé, Bay Li, La fille de la personne and Dynamite. No opened source states that it is the artist civil name, so this profile flags the recurring credit without turning it into an identity.
Did Bilix really play the Olympia and the Zenith?
That is not verified. The artist Viberate page claims concerts at the Olympia in Paris, the Zenith in Toulouse and the Palais des Sports in Marseille, plus African festivals. No other source opened during this research corroborates those claims, and this profile therefore does not present them as facts. It is a question rival profiles do not ask, and the honest answer is: the file is insufficient.
Which Bilix records can be checked on the platforms?
Seven records have detailed Shazam pages: Sa Ka Débodé (feat. Mr Boka, 2016), Sang (Remix) with Daly and nine other voices (2018), Miel Pop with Triple Kay International (2019), Bay Li with YMW, La fille de la personne with Blicassty and Natoxie (2021), Dynamite with Sissy, and Vendetta by Warped featuring Bilix. Viberate lists others, including Ti KoKa and Canicule, without detailed pages opened.
Where can I hear Bilix?
His records are on Shazam and the streaming platforms: start with Sa Ka Débodé and Miel Pop, then continue with our bouyon playlist and our bouyon gwada page.
