Miky Ding La: the name the credits tell better than the biographies

Published October 20, 2026

Miky Ding La is an artist from Guadeloupe whose music moves between reggae, dancehall and bouyon, and whose name resurfaced in 2026 with “ON DOZ”, a record the platforms credit to him alone as artist and as writer. The record travels in the orbit of Miimii KDS, because the two catalogues share the same distribution, Pandemuzik and UpFull Music. This profile puts the credit back in its place, record by record, from the platform pages themselves: Deezer, Qobuz and Shazam. Behind the stage name, the credits publish a writer name, Mike Adequilom, who signs almost the whole catalogue.

Who Miky Ding La is: a stage name, a writer name

Miky Ding La is a singer from Guadeloupe. The analytics platform Viberate presents him as a reggae and dancehall performer from Guadeloupe, and the platform pages confirm the grounding: his records are released in French and Creole, his collaborations place him in the middle of the Guadeloupe scene, and one of his records is simply named after the island, “Guadeloupe”. There is, as of today, no long official biography published by the artist or by his labels. His public story lives in his records and in his credits, and that is where this profile reads it.

Those credits deliver a fact the quick profiles never give: the writer name. On almost every record, Deezer, Qobuz and Shazam print the same writer name, ADEQUILOM Mike, which Deezer also spells out in full as Mike Adequilom, for example on “Weed tou lé jou”. “En La” confirms the same signature on Shazam: songwriter ADEQUILOM Mike, composer Seagull Beats, production by Pandemuzik. Miky Ding La is therefore not only a voice laid over other people productions: the platforms credit him as the writer of his own lyrics, record after record, from 2021 to 2026.

That consistency matters in the bouyon and dancehall of the French Antilles, where records travel fast, sometimes change names from one DJ mix to the next, and lose their writers on the way. Here, the signature holds. “PARENTALITÉ”, “GID AN MWEN”, “BAY ADAN”, “VIN DI MWEN”, “ON DOZ” and “Woman”, the six tracks of his 2026 album, all carry the same writer. The stage name varies slightly from page to page, Miky Ding La or Miky Ding'La on Viberate, but the writer name does not move.

This profile therefore follows the method of the record: no invented birth date, no novelised career path, no listening figures repeated without a source. What the platforms publish is enough to tell the story of an artist at work since at least 2021, signed inside a Guadeloupe label network, and arriving in 2026 at his most complete project. The rest, childhood, training, life outside the studio, is not in the public record, and this profile says so instead of filling it in.

The roots: reggae, dancehall, then bouyon

Viberate files Miky Ding La under reggae and dancehall, and his early catalogue confirms that starting point. His first project documented on the platforms, “Pervers Mixtape, Vol. 1”, was released in 2021 on Up Full Media Group. Shazam lists “Polygam” from it, dated 2 July 2021. Viberate names, for the same period, records such as “Yinki sex”, “Bel Fess Bel Chatte” and “Ma cousine”, a repertoire of Creole dancehall, direct, built for sound systems and Guadeloupe parties.

The bridge towards bouyon can be read in the records and in the playlists. Viberate names “Koke La”, associated with the Bouyon Kings, as one of his best known records, and notes that the track blends reggae with bouyon. On YouTube, the video for “SA DOU”, his feature with Shanika produced by 1T1, is published with the keywords BOUYON and GWADA. And on Deezer, his song “Weed tou lé jou” sits inside a playlist titled Bouyon bass, among the current records of the scene. One playlist placing does not make a genre, but three independent signals point the same way: Miky Ding La is read by the scene as a bouyon artist as much as a dancehall artist.

That position between two worlds is the position of a whole Guadeloupe generation. Bouyon, born in Dominica with bands such as WCK, became the shared party music of the French Antilles, and Guadeloupe dancehall singers lay their voices on it like on one more riddim, with the accent and the themes of home. Our bouyon Guadeloupe page tells that adoption story. Miky Ding La is a clean case of it: the same Creole writing, the same island producers, but rhythms that belong to the bouyon of today.

It is also worth noting what his music does not claim to be. Nothing in the record presents him as a pioneer of the genre, and this profile lends him no title of that kind. Crowns and nicknames such as king or prince, when they exist in bouyon, are titles attributed by audiences and media, never facts. For Miky Ding La, no title of that type is documented: he is a steady craftsman of the scene, not a legend, and that is exactly why his file, made of checkable credits, is worth publishing.

Pandemuzik and UpFull: the houses of the catalogue

Two names come back in almost every Miky Ding La listing: Pandemuzik and the UpFull family. Pandemuzik is the label of his recent releases. Shazam credits Pandemuzik as producer of “En La”, as the label of “Manm'zel La” in 2024, of “Kichta” in 2025 and of the 2026 album. The street clip for “Vin Di Mwen”, directed by TTB Productionz with recording and mastering by Ludosmizik, states Production: Pandemuzik, and gives the press and booking contact at Pandemuzik. Artist and label therefore work continuously, from video to record.

UpFull appears in several forms, and they need to be told apart properly. “Pervers Mixtape, Vol. 1” came out in 2021 on Up Full Media Group according to Shazam. The “IN REAL LIFE” EP came out on 28 March 2025 on UpFull Music according to Shazam. And the 2026 album “MDL Acte 1” carries, on Deezer, the line Distribution UpFull Music, alongside Pandemuzik. In other words, the same network has produced, published and distributed the artist since his first documented releases: a rare loyalty, and an explanation for the coherence of his catalogue.

That shared network also explains the Miimii KDS orbit. Miimii KDS, the singer from Sainte-Rose revealed by “Sé Miimii”, also releases in the Pandemuzik and UpFull orbit. The platforms then blend neighbouring catalogues in their recommendation pages and new release lists: that is how Miky Ding La album ends up displayed inside the Miimii KDS artist page on Deezer, and his record “ON DOZ” inside the associated discography on Qobuz. A hurried reader can believe it is a Miimii KDS record. The credits, however, are formal, and the next section reads them in detail.

The third pole of the network is the producer 1T1. In 2023, 1T1 released “Sa Dou” featuring Miky Ding La and Shanika. The Deezer listing gives a duration of 02:47, a 2023 copyright in the name of 1T1, and shared writers: Terry Baptiste, Miky Dingla and Shanika. The video completes the picture: composer 1T1 Prod, recording at Voodoo Studio, direction by Andy.G Visual. That feature places Miky Ding La inside the circle of voices that Guadeloupe bouyon producers call onto their records, a circle this site documents artist by artist.

The verified discography: from Pervers Mixtape to IN REAL LIFE

The first dated landmark is “Polygam”, on 2 July 2021, on “Pervers Mixtape, Vol. 1”, on Up Full Media Group, according to Shazam. Viberate adds, for that first period, the single “Kal” in 2022, then “Bad Bitch”, “EN LA” and “Reality” in 2023, presenting them as his recent releases of the time. Those aggregator lists are quoted here as what they are: they give the overall chronology, but every precise credit in this profile comes from the Deezer, Qobuz or Shazam listings read directly.

“En La” deserves a stop, because the record shows the team working around the artist. Shazam credits Seagull Beats with the composition, ADEQUILOM Mike with the writing and Pandemuzik with the production, and points to an official video dated 2023. The Shazam listing for the track, however, shows a 2025 release date on Pandemuzik, which visibly matches a re-upload of the catalogue into the label feeds rather than a 2025 creation. This profile therefore keeps the 2023 video as the first public life of the record, and the platform listing as its current life.

In 2024, “Manm'zel La” was released as a single on 26 July on Pandemuzik, again according to Shazam. In January 2024, Miky Ding La also appeared as a feature on “Nimpho” by HB WAR, released on 19 January 2024. Then came the “IN REAL LIFE” EP, on 28 March 2025 on UpFull Music, of which Shazam documents at least two tracks: “Guadeloupe”, featuring Nicy and Keros-N, and “La Bèl époque”, featuring Mighty Kalimba. The track “Guadeloupe”, sung in French according to the listing, is a statement of artistic address: the artist puts the name of his island at the top of the bill.

The collaboration with Keros-N returned in force on 28 June 2025 with “Kichta”, a joint record by Miky Ding La and Keros-N released on the “Yo Mélé Mixtape” on Pandemuzik, again according to Shazam. Viberate also names, for the duo and their circle, “Traka, Remix” with Keros-N and Nicy, “Bel Koukoun” with Nicy, and “No Fake” and “Objectif” with Archi. Taken together, those records draw a method: Miky Ding La works in a tight team, returns to the same partners, and builds his catalogue through collective projects as much as through solo singles. Our bouyon playlist follows these Guadeloupe scene releases as they land.

MDL Acte 1 and ON DOZ: putting the credit back on the right name

On 13 July 2026, Deezer dates the release of “MDL Acte 1”, the Miky Ding La album, with the line Distribution UpFull Music and Pandemuzik. The project title takes his initials, MDL, and the word Acte suggests a first chapter rather than a summing up. The album holds six tracks in the list published by Deezer: “PARENTALITÉ”, “GID AN MWEN”, “BAY ADAN”, “VIN DI MWEN”, “ON DOZ” and “Woman”. All are credited to Miky Ding La as artist, and all carry ADEQUILOM Mike as writer, alone or accompanied.

The track by track credits show an artist who writes and who surrounds himself. “PARENTALITÉ”, the 03:33 opening track, is written by ADEQUILOM Mike, Sébastien Julien-Emmanuel-Lurel and Lionel Sapotille, over a composition by Ludovic Annette. Qobuz also offers it as a single, filed under World, on Pandemuzik, dated 15 July 2026. “GID AN MWEN” is composed by Nicardo Ramsay. “BAY ADAN” is the most personal track of the set on paper: ADEQUILOM Mike is both its writer and its composer. “VIN DI MWEN” brings back, in album form, the record whose street clip shot by TTB Productionz was already circulating, produced by Pandemuzik and mastered by Ludosmizik.

“ON DOZ”, the fifth track, runs 02:09. Deezer credits it this way: artist Miky Ding La, writer ADEQUILOM Mike, composers O'neal Chatelot and Anthony Lessueur. Qobuz lists it, on its side, as a Miky Ding La record, filed under World Music, released on Pandemuzik on 15 July 2026, in 24-Bit quality. Neither platform credits Miimii KDS on this record, not as artist, not as writer, not as composer. If “ON DOZ” travels in her orbit, it is through the shared distribution and through the platforms recommendation pages, not through a credit. This profile exists in part to say that clearly, because attribution errors, in bouyon, always end up costing the less documented artist.

The album closes on “Woman”, 03:06, composed by Ajani Pacquette and Dylan Lowe. The record has a second documented life: bouyon and soca mix tracklists bill it as “Miky Ding La x Riddla x Shanika, Woman”, that is, a feature with Riddla and with Shanika, his “Sa Dou” partner. The album therefore publishes, under the single name of Miky Ding La, a record the DJ circuit knows as a three voice record. Once again, the lesson of the file is the same: read the full listing before repeating a name. Hear the whole set in our bouyon playlist.

What the record does not say: the limits of the public file

This profile ends, like every profile on this site, with its limits. No source consulted gives Miky Ding La date of birth, nor his precise home commune in Guadeloupe, nor his path before 2021. Viberate says he is from Guadeloupe, his labels and his collaborations confirm it in practice, and this profile goes no further. No official social account could be verified at its exact address: the description of the “Vin Di Mwen” clip lists accounts under the name MikyDingla on TikTok, X, Instagram and Facebook, but the full addresses there are truncated, so this page links to no social profile and the schema sameAs field stays empty.

Figures are handled with the same caution. This profile repeats no listening counts, no chart positions and no follower numbers, because no primary source publishes them in a stable way for this artist. Viberate, which is an aggregator, serves here to confirm the Guadeloupe origin, the genre family and part of the popular track list, always with attribution. The credits that commit, writers, composers, labels, dates, come from the Deezer, Qobuz and Shazam listings, which every reader can reopen.

What remains is the place of Miky Ding La in the landscape. He is neither a pioneer of the 1990s nor a platform star: he is a singer and writer of today Guadeloupe, moved from dancehall to bouyon, loyal to two labels, Pandemuzik and UpFull, and arrived in 2026 at a short, coherent album, “MDL Acte 1”, of which “ON DOZ” is the most exposed record. His file shows how current bouyon is made: in a team, in Creole, between the Dominica that invented the genre and the Guadeloupe that makes it dance. Read the context on our bouyon Guadeloupe page.

If the artist, Pandemuzik or UpFull publish an official biography, dates or verified accounts, this profile will be completed and dated, like every page on this site. In the meantime, the most reliable trace of Miky Ding La remains the one his own records leave: a writer name, Mike Adequilom, printed on almost every track, and a signature that has never been confused with anyone else.

Who is Miky Ding La?

Miky Ding La is a singer from Guadeloupe, presented by Viberate as a reggae and dancehall artist, whose catalogue released through Pandemuzik and UpFull Music also places him inside bouyon. The platforms credit him as the writer of his records under the name ADEQUILOM Mike, also spelled Mike Adequilom.

Is ON DOZ a Miimii KDS record or a Miky Ding La record?

A Miky Ding La record, according to both platforms that publish it. Deezer, in the MDL Acte 1 album dated 13 July 2026, credits ON DOZ to Miky Ding La as artist, to ADEQUILOM Mike as writer and to O'neal Chatelot and Anthony Lessueur as composers. Qobuz lists ON DOZ as a Miky Ding La record, released on Pandemuzik on 15 July 2026.
