Trixzmigos: the group behind the biggest record of the new bouyon
Published October 20, 2026
Trixzmigos is a name in Dominica new wave of bouyon, a group or collective name whose members are not named by any public source, and whose catalog, by contrast, is fully traceable. Between 2022 and 2026 its records appear on Vadore Concept Groupe, LTG RECORDS and then L2TG RECORDS, built around a circle of guest voices in which Hussey returns eight times. Its peak is “What She Like”, released on January 10, 2025: the group most streamed record, a 1.7 million view video, and a Collaboration of the Year finalist at the Dominica Music Awards 2025. This profile follows the catalog record by record, tells the truth about the awards, finalists and not winners, and settles the most frequent confusion on this scene: Trixzmigos and Trixx are two separate names in every source consulted.
Who Trixzmigos are: one name, four spellings, no named members
Trixzmigos is the name under which a Dominican bouyon catalog has appeared since 2022. The platforms spell it four ways: Trixzmigos on Shazam, Trixz Migos on YouTube and in the national awards finalist list, TrixZ Migos in the collaboration category of those same awards, and Trixmigos, without the z, in a Sokah2Soca trending chart. The four spellings point to the same catalog: the records, the guests and the labels match from list to list, and no source presents these forms as different projects.
What the sources do not give, this profile does not invent. No page consulted names the members of the group, says whether it is a duo, a trio or an open collective, and publishes no biography and no official photograph. The only collective writing credit recorded, on the official audio of “Toxic Love”, simply says “Written by Trixz Migos”, written by the group, with no individual name. In today bouyon that opacity is common: the project names move forward, the people stay behind the production and studio credits.
The territory clues, though, are solid and convergent. The booking contact published under the official audio of “Toxic Love” uses the 767 area code, which is Dominica code. The group competes at the Dominica Music Awards, the island national ceremony, in the rising artist category. And its best known record, “What She Like”, tops the Dominican bouyon and soca trending chart published by Sokah2Soca for the week ending April 26, 2025. Trixzmigos is therefore documented as a Dominican project of the current wave, even if its members stay anonymous in the public archive.
The sound, as the credits describe it, is single driven bouyon: short records in English and Dominican Creole, rotating guest voices, studio production rather than a live band. The names that recur around the project tell its workshop story: DiYoute yw3 producing and mixing “Toxic Love”, recorded at Yw3 Studio, Boogy Rankss on the beat, and a small circle of singers, Hussey, Shyanne, Loren, Poyzin, Fetty Mark and Keks Mafia, sharing the features. It is a studio collective organisation, close to Signal Band on the stage side, but built for streaming.
The catalog: from “Backshot” in 2022 to the run of singles
The first verified trace of the name does not carry Trixzmigos as lead artist. On February 26, 2022, the single “Backshot” by SupaLyne credits Trixz Migos as a feature, alongside Kenny Gee, on Vadore Concept Groupe, in English and at 157 BPM. That first credit is precious for two reasons: it dates the project, active from 2022, and it places it from the start in a network wider than Dominica, since Vadore Concept Groupe is the Guadeloupe banner behind the Bouyon Kings, documented on this site in the profiles of the songwriters Letin Severine and Letin Sylia. The new Dominican bouyon and bouyon gwada therefore share banners from that period on.
The first lead name record found on the platforms is “Nasty 2”, released on June 9, 2023 on LTG RECORDS. The title suggests a sequel, but no first “Nasty” was found in the catalogs consulted, and this profile assumes nothing on that point. In 2024, the single “The Christmas Story” opens the run that will define the group: Hussey already features on it, a year before the record that made the formula famous. The Trixzmigos catalog holds, at the time of research, more than twenty records referenced by Shazam across lead singles, most streamed songs and guest appearances.
The year 2025 is the year of concentration. The Shazam artist page lines up “What She Like” in January, then “Dark Love”, “Rum”, where Hussey shares the feature with Poyzin, “Doh Mix Me”, where he shares it with Shyanne, “IN D MORNING” and “Shake Dat”, again with Hussey. Around that run the circle rotates: DJ Taffy on “Bikini”, Tiitii Nba on “Shake It”, Keks Mafia and Fetty Mark on “Open Wide” and “Man She Want”, Fetty Mark and DJ Dirtee on “Touch and Go”, and one record with no guest, “Friends Zone”. The group works like a platform: a stable core, voices moving in and out, and one lead guest voice, Hussey, returning on eight documented records.
The year 2026 extends the run instead of closing it. Shazam lists “Location”, with Shyanne, a Radio Edit version of “In D Morning”, “Suck Suck”, “Take Dat”, a record shared with Klassik Frescobar and Boogy Rankss, “Toxic Love”, with the voice of Loren, and “Long Time”, again with Hussey, presented as the most recent release in the catalog at the time of research. No album is referenced: the Trixzmigos catalog is a singles catalog, consistent from end to end with the economy of current bouyon, where the isolated record, pushed by carnival mixes and social feeds, is worth more than a long format.
“What She Like”: the record that changed the group scale
The central record of the file is “What She Like”, by Trixzmigos featuring Hussey, released on January 10, 2025 on L2TG RECORDS, in English. According to the group artist page on Shazam, it is the most streamed record in the whole catalog and the most identified of all time on the platform, with about 32,900 identifications counted when the page was opened, out of a total of about 34,600 identifications for the entire catalog. In other words, almost all the measured attention Trixzmigos receives passes through this single record: a clear case of a group carried by one single.
The video confirms the scale. The “What She Like” video, published on YouTube under the title “Trixz Migos & Hussey - What She Like (Bouyon 2025)”, showed 1.7 million views at the time of research. A detail the quick profiles miss: the video does not sit on a channel of the group, but on the channel of producer Fr3EzE, one of the makers of the Signal Band and Trixzmigos wave sound. The group biggest video asset therefore lives with a third party, which says a great deal about the infrastructure of this scene, where producers often host the records they build.
The chart published by Sokah2Soca, carried by Island Vybe, for the week ending April 26, 2025, places “What She Like” at the top of Dominica bouyon and soca trending songs, ahead of records by 1T1, Signal Band and Asa Bantan. In diaspora carnival mixes, the record circulates in the tracklists of DJ BuzzB, DJ Close and other selectors, from Toronto to Miami, alongside records by Signal Band and Trilla-G. The path is therefore complete and documented: a January 2025 single, a chart peak in spring, then institutional recognition at the end of the year, at the national awards.
That recognition has a precise form, and this profile gives it without rounding it up: finalist, not winner. That is the subject of the next section, because the official Dominica Music Awards 2025 finalist list contains, in the same rising category, a second name behind the most stubborn confusion on this scene: Trixx.
Dominica Music Awards 2025: finalists, not winners
The official finalist list of the Dominica Music Awards 2025, published by Black Island Girl Multimedia, holds Trixzmigos twice. In the Collaboration of the Year category, “What She Like”, credited to TrixZ Migos & Hussey, faces “FYM” by Mr Ridge and Problem Child, “IKY” by Reo, Kenny G and Faithii, “Stronger” by Shelly, Nice and Signal Band, “RAGS” by Trilla G, Skinny Fabulous and Shelly, and “Someone Else” by Quan, Litle Boy and Trilla G. In the Rising Artist/Band of the Year category, spelled Trixz Migos, the group is a finalist alongside Nice, Faithii, Riddim Knockers Band, Real Reel, and a name that returns in the next section: Trixx, listed separately.
The winners list, published by Soca News, closes the file without ambiguity. The Dominica Music Awards 2025 ceremony was held on Saturday January 3, 2026 at the InterContinental Dominica Cabrits Resort & Spa, in Portsmouth. The rising category, titled Rising and Emerging Artist/Band of the Year, was won by Real Reel. Collaboration of the Year was won by “Someone Else”, by Little Boy, Quan and Trilla G. Trixzmigos therefore leaves that edition with two finalist places and no trophy, and this profile writes it exactly that way, where quick write ups often turn a finalist place into a win.
Two finalist places, for a project with no biography, no named members and no album, remain a heavy result. They place the group, in the eyes of its island music institution, in the first circle of the new wave, and its lead record among the six collaborations of the year. They also explain why the name travels beyond the platforms: award lists are one of the rare documents where the new Dominican wave can be counted, category by category, and Trixzmigos appears in them twice.

Trixzmigos and Trixx: two names, two catalog lines
Now to the confusion this profile is the only one to take head on. On the same scene, in the same period, two close names circulate: Trixzmigos, the group of this profile, and Trixx, spelled with two x letters and no z, a guest singer of the Signal Band wave. The question presses all the harder because the two names look alike and because the platforms spell Trixzmigos four different ways. A hurried reader can conclude that Trixx is the short name, or the singer, of Trixzmigos. No source consulted says that, and several documents say the opposite, by treating them as two separate entries.
The clearest document is the official finalist list of the Dominica Music Awards 2025. In the Rising Artist/Band of the Year category, Trixx and Trixz Migos appear on two distinct lines of the same list, alongside Nice, Faithii, Riddim Knockers Band and Real Reel. A national ceremony does not list the same artist twice under two names in the same category: for the institution, they are two different candidates. That is a fact of document, not an interpretation by this site.
The catalogs confirm the separation. Trixx, for his part, sings as a guest on “Make Her Bawl”, the Signal Band record with Shelly and DJ Taffy, charted in the Dominican trending songs of April 2025 by Sokah2Soca, which spells him Trixx in that credit and Trixmigos in the “What She Like” credit of the same chart. Mix tracklists add “Doe Do Me Dat”, by Trixx and Beevo, and “Fall In De Trap”, by Trixx, Freddy and Beevo. And the confirmed artist list of Ti Vilaj Kwéyòl 2026, the Creole village of the independence celebrations in Roseau, holds Trixx under that solo name, with no mention of Trixzmigos. None of those documents links the two names, and no record, to date, credits them together.
This profile therefore concludes exactly what the sources support: Trixzmigos and Trixx are two distinct names of the same small Dominican scene, treated as such by the national ceremony, by the charts and by festival programmers. A personal or musical link between them is not impossible, it is simply undocumented, and it will be stated here only on the day a source states it. This site also gives Trixx his own profile in the same publication wave, precisely because the two files do not overlap. Merging the two names would mean attributing “What She Like” to a singer who does not appear on it, or “Make Her Bawl” to a group that does not sing on it: in a genre where credit is the central issue, the distinction is worth a whole section.
The collective method, and the limits of the public record
Taken together, the Trixzmigos credits draw a readable method. A stable project core, writing collectively, as the “Written by Trixz Migos” credit of “Toxic Love” says. An identifiable production workshop, DiYoute yw3 and Yw3 Studio on the production, mixing and mastering of that record, Boogy Rankss on the beat, Kimmie Designs on the artwork. A circle of recurring voices, Hussey in front with eight features, then Shyanne, Loren, Poyzin, DJ Taffy, DJ Dirtee, Fetty Mark and Keks Mafia. And a singles distribution across three successive or parallel banners, Vadore Concept Groupe in 2022, LTG RECORDS in 2023, L2TG RECORDS in 2025, whose names echo each other closely enough to suggest one house under neighbouring forms, without any source consulted confirming it, and this profile therefore does not confirm it either.
That method is the method of the new Dominican bouyon economy. The record leaves the studio, passes through a producer YouTube channel, enters the mixes of carnival and diaspora DJs, climbs the trending charts kept by Sokah2Soca, and ends, when it is big enough, on a national finalist list. “What She Like” travelled each of those steps with written traces, which makes it the best documented record of the group, and the best entry point into its catalog.
The limits of the file are just as clear, and this profile states them. The members of Trixzmigos are named by no source consulted: no names, no number, no individual roles. No official biography, no interview and no verified official account of the group were confirmed during this research: the only page verified by direct opening is the Shazam artist page, carried as a link in the structured data of this page, and no social profile is linked. The figures quoted, Shazam identifications and YouTube views, are those counted at the time of research and will keep moving.
If the members of the group one day publish their names, a biography or an official account, this profile will be completed and dated like every page on this site. In the meantime, listening starts with “What She Like”, continues with the Hussey run, “The Christmas Story”, “Dark Love”, “Rum”, “Doh Mix Me”, “Shake Dat”, “1View” and “Long Time”, then with “Nasty 2” and “Take Dat”, and the context is read on our bouyon soca page and in our bouyon playlist.

Frequently asked questions
Who are the members of Trixzmigos?
No source consulted names them. Neither the Shazam artist page, nor the song pages, nor the Dominica Music Awards 2025 finalist list gives a name, a number or an individual role. The only writing credit recorded, on the official audio of “Toxic Love”, says “Written by Trixz Migos”, in the group name. This profile therefore publishes the catalog, which is documented, and not identities, which are not.
What is the biggest Trixzmigos record?
“What She Like”, featuring Hussey, released on January 10, 2025 on L2TG RECORDS. According to Shazam, it is the most streamed record in the catalog and the most identified of all time, with about 32,900 identifications, out of a total of about 34,600 for the group. Its video showed 1.7 million views on YouTube, and Sokah2Soca ranked it first in Dominica bouyon and soca trending songs for the week ending April 26, 2025.
Did Trixzmigos win a Dominica Music Award in 2025?
No. The group was a finalist twice, in the Rising Artist/Band of the Year category, spelled Trixz Migos, and in Collaboration of the Year for “What She Like”, with Hussey. The winners list published by Soca News gives the rising category to Real Reel and Collaboration of the Year to “Someone Else”, by Little Boy, Quan and Trilla G. The ceremony was held on January 3, 2026 in Portsmouth.
Are Trixzmigos and Trixx the same artist?
Every source consulted treats them as two separate names. The official Dominica Music Awards 2025 finalist list lines them up on two distinct lines of the same rising category. Trixx sings separately on “Make Her Bawl”, by Signal Band with Shelly and DJ Taffy, on “Doe Do Me Dat” and “Fall In De Trap” with Beevo, and appears alone among the confirmed artists of Ti Vilaj Kwéyòl 2026. No document links the two names, and no record credits them together.
On which labels has Trixzmigos released records?
Three banners appear in the verified credits. Vadore Concept Groupe for “Backshot”, the SupaLyne record on which the group features on February 26, 2022. LTG RECORDS for “Nasty 2”, on June 9, 2023. And L2TG RECORDS for “What She Like”, on January 10, 2025. No source consulted says whether those banners are linked to each other.
Where can I hear Trixzmigos?
Through the run of singles: “What She Like”, “Rum”, “Doh Mix Me”, “1View”, “Shake Dat”, “Dark Love”, “The Christmas Story” and “Long Time” with Hussey, then “Nasty 2”, “Bikini” with DJ Taffy, “Take Dat” and “Toxic Love”. Our bouyon playlist follows this Dominican wave, and the Hussey page documents the group guest voice record by record.
