Fr3EzE: Andel Horsford, the producer at the centre of the new wave
Published October 20, 2026
Fr3EzE is a bouyon producer from Dominica, and this profile can finally print his full name: Andel Horsford. A February 2026 CaribMagPlus article on the Trilla-G record “Congratulations” presents him as Andel “Fr3EzE” Horsford and credits him, with Dernel Green, with producing the track. Elsewhere the platforms credit him under his civil name alone: Andel Horsford is the producer named by Shazam on Signal Band “Bye to de Old Me” and on Trilla-G “I Like Your Woman”. Around that double name the record is rich and consistent: lead production of TriSzy “Mood” in 2025, additional riddim programming on “Bye to the Old Me”, a production credit on the Trilla-G album “Take Me as I Am”, the riddim of Slyme Hoyss “Phuck U 2Nite”, and a YouTube channel that hosts both his own riddims and the biggest video of the wave, Trixzmigos and Hussey “What She Like”. Our Boy Freeze page, published in an earlier wave, already followed this producer without having found his civil name: this profile completes that one point, from an opened source, and contradicts nothing else in that file.
Who Fr3EzE is: a stylised alias, a recovered civil name
The name is spelled Fr3EzE, with a 3 in place of the first e and a capital final E, and it is pronounced Freeze. That is the spelling the Caribbean press uses for him: CaribMagPlus, in its May 2025 article on TriSzy “Mood”, describes him as a prominent Dominican producer known for working with top bouyon acts. It is also the spelling he signs his riddims with on his own YouTube channel, presented simply as the channel of a music producer, and the spelling the credits use when the credit is a riddim credit, as on Slyme Hoyss “Phuck U 2Nite”, where the official description reads “RIDDIM MAN: FR3EZE”.
The civil name comes from another line of the file, and this profile gives it with its exact source. On February 10, 2026, CaribMagPlus published an article on “Congratulations”, the Trilla-G record written during his season of treatment and released to celebrate his recovery, with Th3rd from the US Virgin Islands as guest. The article states that the track was produced by Andel “Fr3EzE” Horsford and Dernel Green, with additional writing by Shane Maloone and Christon Jno Baptiste and live guitar by Giovannie Green. That credit form, civil name followed by the alias in quotation marks, is the form press uses when it wants to identify a person without ambiguity: Fr3EzE is the studio name of Andel Horsford.
The platform credits confirm the same man under the civil name alone. On Shazam, the page for “Bye to de Old Me”, the Signal Band record featuring Shelly, released on January 27, 2025 on Signal Band Inc, lists two producers: Dernel Green and Andel Horsford. The page for Trilla-G “I Like Your Woman (Side Man Confession)”, released on January 23, 2025 on Still Trill Ent, lists one producer only: Andel Horsford. None of those pages writes Fr3EzE, and none needs to: the February 2026 article makes the link between the two forms, and this profile follows that documented link rather than treating the alias and the civil name as two people.
What the sources still do not give, this profile does not invent. No opened source consulted gives Andel Horsford date of birth, his town in Dominica, a label carrying his name, or an interview in which he describes his method. Our Boy Freeze page, built in an earlier wave on the same producer, already flagged the absence of a civil name in the sources it had opened: this profile updates that point with the February 2026 article and leaves the rest of the finding intact. Fr3EzE remains a producer whose public statement is his catalog, and it is that catalog the following sections read, credit by credit.
TriSzy “Mood”: the lead production that named him
The most visible Fr3EzE credit is a lead production credit on a sung record. In April 2025, emerging bouyon artist TriSzy, whose real name is Tristan Shillingford, released the single “Mood”, a track CaribMagPlus describes as vibrant and hypnotic and which passed 6,000 views on YouTube in the weeks after its release. The article credits production of the track to Fr3EzE, and mixing and mastering to Tha WizZarD, another respected name in bouyon production. The split is clean: the riddim and the build on one side, the finishing on the other.
That credit matters because it places Fr3EzE at the centre of a new generation record, and not only in the secondary lines of credit rolls. Producing “Mood” means building the rhythm machine on which a Dominican artist also trained in hip hop, R and B, dancehall and soca, and returned to bouyon for this track, lays the voice with which he introduces himself to the genre audience. The article underlines that context: TriSzy, born in Brooklyn, schooled in Dominica and later back in the United States, chose bouyon for this single after having tried, with a 2021 record, to prove that other genres could also represent the island. The producer of the track is therefore the one who clothes that return to the Dominican sound.
The same article gives Fr3EzE his two weight references, and this profile reports them as press references: known for working with Shelly and Signal Band on “Bye to the Old Me”, and with Trilla G on “Take Me As I Am”. Those two records stand among the biggest bouyon releases of the period, and they structure the next two sections of this profile: a shared credit on the first, read two ways by two different sources, and a place in the production team of the second, extended in 2026 by a co-production signed with Dernel Green.
It is also worth noting what “Mood” says about the place of producers in current bouyon. The genre was born with bands, from WCK to Signal Band, but its new generation circulates through riddim producers, warm ups published online and studio YouTube channels. A track like “Mood” is credited to its singer, built by its producer and finished by its engineer: three crafts that modern credit rolls finally separate, and that this site follows separately, page by page.
“Bye to the Old Me”: one credit, two exact readings
The second file is “Bye to the Old Me”, the Shelly, Nice and Pudaz record that became one of the reset anthems of recent bouyon, whose video, hosted on the Fr3EzE channel, showed one million views at the time of research. The production notes published by Island Vybe, carrying Sokah2Soca, give the full roll: written by Sheldon Alfred, Miguel Hussey and Udi Prince, composed and engineered by Dernel “Dernz” Green, live bass guitar by Giovannie “Gio” Green, background vocals by Darren Green, Dernel Green, Giovannie Green and Liam Sebastien. In that roll, the Fr3EzE line is precise and limited: additional riddim programming.
The Shazam page for the same record, titled “Bye to de Old Me (feat. Shelly)” and billed to Signal Band, gives a complementary and not contradictory reading. It dates the single to January 27, 2025, on Signal Band Inc, at 160 BPM, credits Sheldon Alfred as songwriter and vocalist, and lists, in production, Dernel Green and Andel Horsford, both at the rank of Producer. Read with the civil name recovered in February 2026, that producer credit is the same man as the additional programming line in the press notes: the platforms gather production roles under one title, the studio notes detail them.
That double reading is a lesson in method this profile underlines on purpose, because it holds for the whole scene. The same studio work can appear as additional programming in a detailed roll and as co-production in a platform database, without either source lying. What would be false is to conclude from it that Fr3EzE composed the track, when the detailed roll assigns composition to Dernel Green, or to reduce his role to an anonymous pass, when two independent sources name him. This profile keeps both forms, with their sources, and inflates neither.
The record also shows the lasting closeness between Fr3EzE and the Green workshop. Dernel Green composes and engineers, Giovannie Green plays live bass and sings in the background vocals, Darren Green and Liam Sebastien complete the voices, and Fr3EzE programs the riddim in support. It is a family and studio workshop organisation, typical of current Dominican bouyon, where the same names return from roll to roll in different chairs. The 2026 co-production of “Congratulations”, signed Fr3EzE and Dernel Green, extends exactly that pair, and the next section finds it again with Trilla-G.
Trilla-G: from a single to the album, then to “Congratulations”
The Trilla-G file starts with a single. “I Like Your Woman (Side Man Confession)”, released on January 23, 2025 on Still Trill Ent, is credited on Shazam to Gael Jno Baptiste as songwriter and harmony vocalist, and to Andel Horsford as producer, alone in that post. The record, whose video showed more than 500,000 views on the Fr3EzE channel at the time of research, is therefore, to date, the best documented solo production credit of the producer on a record by a major artist of the wave: no co-producer named, no additional line, one name in production.
The second stage is an album stage. On October 22, 2025, Trilla-G released “Take Me as I Am: The Album”, a 13 track project recorded at Th3rdHouse Studios in the US Virgin Islands, whose title track had already passed one million views on YouTube since September 2024. CaribMagPlus, in its October 28, 2025 article, lists the production credits of the project, drawn from across the Caribbean, and places Fr3EzE among the producers from Dominica, alongside Mask Man and DernzMusik. The exact Fr3EzE role track by track is not detailed by the article, and this profile therefore does not detail it either: it keeps the album credit presence, which is the published fact.
The third stage closes the loop and gives the civil name. “Congratulations”, published in February 2026, is the record Trilla-G wrote during his season of reflection and treatment, to celebrate being declared cancer free on February 5, 2026. Th3rd, from the US Virgin Islands, a longtime collaborator, sings on it as guest. CaribMagPlus credits production to Andel “Fr3EzE” Horsford and Dernel Green, additional writing to Shane Maloone and Christon Jno Baptiste, and live guitar to Giovannie Green. It is the fullest credit in the Fr3EzE file: one record, two producers named on both sides of the pair already seen on “Bye to the Old Me”, and a signature that finally links the alias to the civil name.
Taken together, those three stages draw a readable path. In 2025, Fr3EzE produces a Trilla-G single alone, enters the production team of his album, programs in support on the Signal Band record and produces the TriSzy presentation single. In 2026, he co-produces with Dernel Green the most personal Trilla-G record. That is not the path of an occasional riddim supplier: it is the path of a producer installed at the centre of the workshop that builds current Dominican bouyon, between Roseau, the studios and the platforms.
His channel: the riddims, the warm ups, and the “What She Like” video
The richest primary source on Fr3EzE remains his own YouTube channel, that of a music producer whose catalog mixes three functions. First, the channel hosts the records of others: the “What She Like” video by Trixzmigos and Hussey, shown at 1.7 million views, the “Bye to de Old Me” video by Shelly and Signal Band, at one million views, several Trilla-G videos, including “Take Me As I Am” at 1.3 million views, and the Slyme Hoyss records, “Phuck U 2Nite” at 92,000 views, the “Back and Forth” visualizer and a basement live free up billed to Slyme Hoyss and Fr3EzE. This profile does not turn that hosting into a production credit on “What She Like”: no source consulted credits Fr3EzE with producing that record, and the documented fact is that its video lives on the producer channel, which already says a great deal about his infrastructure role on the scene.
Second, the channel publishes his own riddims, signed “prod by Fr3EzE” or under his name alone. “Skyfall”, presented as Bouyon Riddim 2024, “Up and down Riddim”, “JET2Holiday Riddim”, “I Should Have Cheated Riddim”, “Nothing At All Riddim”, “Jellyfish Jam Riddim” and “BS Riddim” form a regular run, season after season, feeding DJs and carnival warm ups. Mix tracklists confirm the circulation beyond the channel: the Blaqrose Supreme 2026 bouyon freestyle mix programmes the Fr3EzE “Love In The Dark” warm up and his “Jellyfish Jam Riddim”, among the records of the current scene.
Third, the channel lines up the bouyon remixes and warm ups that are the producer public signature: “Love in the dark” after Adele, billed “prod by Fr3EzE” and shown at more than 1.1 million views, the largest figure on the channel outside the hosted videos; a bouyon remix of Billie Eilish “Ocean Eyes”, at more than 350,000 views; a Mariah Carey “All I Want For Christmas is You” turned into a bouyon remix under his name; and warm ups on records by Fenix Flexin, Vybz Kartel and Malie Donn. The principle is that of bouyon producer culture: take a hit or a ballad from elsewhere, rebuild it on the Dominican rhythm machine at 160 BPM, and make it playable at a fete and in a mix.
This page carries in its structured data the recordings verified by direct opening during this research: “Mood”, “Bye to the Old Me”, “I Like Your Woman (Side Man Confession)”, “Congratulations”, “Phuck U 2Nite”, “Skyfall”, “Love in the dark Warm up”, “Ocean Eyes Bouyon Remix”, “Up and down Riddim”, “JET2Holiday Riddim”, “Nothing At All Riddim”, “Jellyfish Jam Riddim” and “All I Want For Christmas is You Bouyon Remix”. The Fr3EzE roles vary by record, lead production, co-production, additional programming, riddim or remix, and the text above gives them record by record without flattening them.
Fr3EzE in the bouyon landscape, and the limits of the record
The Fr3EzE path stands in the bouyon shift toward studio producers. Bouyon soca, started in Dominica in 2003 by Dada according to the first hand testimony of Sean “Smokiller” Francis, a Dominican-born producer, and popularised by Triple Kay, made the studio a birthplace of styles. Wrecketeng, whose official spelling comes from DJ Cut himself, while reketeng remains the misspelling spread across the internet, was born from the same sample and machine culture. Fr3EzE belongs to the next generation of that history: the generation of riddims published online, production credits shared between producers, and producer channels turned into distribution houses in their own right.
His most concrete link to the next wave runs through Slyme Hoyss. The record “Phuck U 2Nite”, written by Slyme, recorded at Redroom Studios, mixed and mastered by Khallion, with Nakita Christmas, called Fridge, on drums, rests on a Fr3EzE riddim, and the two men then share a live free up published on his channel. Producer to the elders of the wave and riddim supplier to its next generation, Fr3EzE holds the hinge position this site also documents in other craftsmen of the genre: that of the studio man without whom the voices have no track to stand on.
The limits of the file, finally, are clear and this profile states them. The civil name, Andel Horsford, is now published and sourced, but no opened source consulted gives his date of birth, his town, a label, or an interview. No source details his role track by track on the Trilla-G album, and none credits his production on “What She Like”, whose video he only hosts. The view figures quoted are those counted at the time of research and will keep moving. Any portrait adding a biography, a method or intentions at this stage would be an invention, and this site does not publish inventions.
For listening, start with “Mood” and “I Like Your Woman”, continue with “Bye to the Old Me” and “Congratulations”, then with the riddims on the channel, “Skyfall”, “Nothing At All Riddim” and “Jellyfish Jam Riddim”, and find the whole scene in our bouyon playlist. If Fr3EzE one day publishes a biography, a label or a further official account, this profile will be completed and dated, like every page on this site, and our Boy Freeze page will be aligned on the civil name this profile recovered.
