YoJoshii: two production credits, from Guadeloupe to Dominica

Published October 20, 2026

YoJoshii is a bouyon producer name that holds, in the public sources opened for this profile, in exactly two credits. The first is Guadeloupean: the description of the official “SEE U” video by Pinpin OSP credits him on production, inside the VGM Product team. The second is Dominican: “Back Up Your Chat”, the bouyon remix by Ebony Empress featuring Foxy Jael, released in 2026, is produced by YoJoshii and Yung Pierre, according to the Dominican press and the official video description. Two records, two islands, two teams, and nothing else verified: no biography, no real name, no artist page, no confirmed official account. This profile therefore publishes those two credits in detail, examines the neighbouring trail of a “Joshii” credited for Miimii KDS without merging it into the name, and states in plain words everything the file does not hold.

A name that exists only in two credit lines

The file starts with its exact state, because that state governs this whole profile. The name YoJoshii, in that precise spelling, with the Yo joined and the two final i letters, appears in two documents opened during this research: the description of the official “SEE U” video by Pinpin OSP, where it holds the “Prod” credit, and the release file of “Back Up Your Chat” by Ebony Empress and Foxy Jael, where it shares the production credit with Yung Pierre. No artist page under that name was found on the platforms consulted, no song listing credits it anywhere else, no interview and no biography mentions it. YoJoshii is, to date, a credit name, and this profile treats it as such: seriously, and adding nothing.

The two credits, though, are not anecdotal, because they link two scenes this site documents separately. The first ties YoJoshii to the Guadeloupe of VGM Product, the house of Pinpin OSP, whose technical team holds the recording, mixing and mastering of the video. The second ties him to the Dominica of Felix Studio, with Foxy Jael and Ebony Empress, two voices of the island new female wave, a mix by Cleverns Pierre and a master by Khallion. A producer who turns up on both sides of the Dominica channel, in the credits of a gwada video and of a Dominican single, deserves his page, even a short one: he is exactly the kind of go between that singer centred write ups leave in the shade.

The spelling itself is a document. Both sources write YoJoshii identically, and the Dominican video cites him in handle form, @YoJoshii, like the Pinpin OSP video. That constancy across two productions with no link between them suggests one working name on both sides, without proving it in the sense of a civil identity. This profile therefore keeps the minimal and solid fact: two production credits published under the same exact name, in two independent files. Everything else, age, island of origin, background, possible further records under other spellings, belongs to what the sources do not say, and the last section returns to it in detail.

A method point before entering the records. Neighbouring names abound around this one, and this profile sets them aside one by one, in the section devoted to the “Joshii” trail. From here, the reader should keep the rule: only the exact name YoJoshii, read in an opened document, counts. Neither Yo Joshy, a shatta artist from Martinique, nor Joshii G, a producer credited on a Vibez King video, nor the “Joshii” of the Miimii KDS credits is merged into this file. The confusion would be easy, and it would also be a credit fault, in a genre where credit is the central issue.

“SEE U”: the production for Pinpin OSP and the VGM Product team

The first verified YoJoshii credit is a video production as much as a record production. The official description of the “SEE U” video by Pinpin OSP, opened for this profile, gives the team in four lines: author, @PINPINOSPOFFICIEL; production, @YoJoshii; direction, @Mproduction971; recording, mixing and mastering, @vgmproduct. The keywords of the video close the frame: BOUYON, PINPIN, VGM. The artist therefore claims the bouyon label himself for this record, and YoJoshii holds there the producer place, at the centre of a chain where VGM Product covers the whole technical side and Mproduction971 the image.

The context of that credit can be read in the catalog of Pinpin OSP, documented on our Pinpin OSP page. The Guadeloupe artist releases his singles on VGM PRODUCT: “Make it pop”, with Edday, on November 2, 2023, at 160 BPM, composed by Luchshiy and written in part by Brian Lomba; “On Fwa”, with Shanika, on June 8, 2024, still on VGM PRODUCT and at 160 BPM. Neither of those two listings credits YoJoshii: on the catalog singles, the composition belongs to other names, Luchshiy or YasBeats depending on the record. The “SEE U” credit is therefore, in the state of the sources, an isolated credit in that catalog, attached to the official video, and not the signature of a run of productions for the artist.

What the video does not give must also be said. The page consulted shows no usable publication date, no label and no linked streaming listing, and no Shazam or Deezer page for the record “SEE U” was found during this research. This profile therefore does not date “SEE U”, attributes to it neither a label nor a counter, and carries it in its structured data as a recording attested by the official description of its video, nothing more. On a scene where many records live first as videos before they exist as platform listings, that kind of trace is common, and it is enough to establish the production credit, which is the fact told here.

What “SEE U” does establish, by contrast, is clear: at one point in the path of Pinpin OSP, the artist and his house VGM Product entrusted the production of a record claimed as bouyon to YoJoshii, and they wrote it in the public document of the video, at the same level as the director and the studio. For a name with no other verified Guadeloupe trace, that line is an anchor: it places YoJoshii in the workshop of an artist followed by this site, alongside the recurring names of VGM Product. The second anchor, the Dominican one, is documented even better.

“Back Up Your Chat”: the Dominican production, with Yung Pierre

The second verified credit is the better documented of the two. On May 15, 2026, the Dominican outlet Black Island Girl Multimedia, under the byline of Sémaj Bernard, announces the release of “Back Up Your Chat”, by Ebony Empress featuring Foxy Jael, and presents it as an energetic bouyon remix. The published credits are complete: produced by YoJoshii and Yung Pierre, mixed by Cleverns Pierre, mastered by Khallion, written by Everlyne Leandra Walters and Aurelle Joseph, recorded at Felix Studio. The official description of the record video, also opened, confirms those credits line for line, with the handles @YoJoshii and @YungPierre117 on production, and files the video under the keywords Bouyon 2026, Bouyon and Soca.

The record has a story the article tells, and this profile reports it as published. During a livestream interview on Foxy Jael show, Ebony Empress revealed that “Back Up Your Chat” was the first song she ever created, brought back and modernised years later because, in her reported words, the beat had changed a little. The lyric speaks to men who, in her reported phrase, have more talk than action. The production by YoJoshii and Yung Pierre is therefore, in this file, the production of a resurrection: an old record by a Dominican artist, brought to the sound of today, as a duet with Foxy Jael, whose debut single “Ah Coming” had launched her path. The context of the singer can be read on our Ebony Empress page.

The geography of that credit deserves a stop. Ebony Empress and Foxy Jael are presented by the Dominican press as bouyon artists from Dominica, the record is recorded at Felix Studio, and its technical team, Cleverns Pierre on the mix, Khallion on the master, belongs to the Dominican landscape this site follows page after page. If YoJoshii is the same person as the producer of the Pinpin OSP video, then this name works on both sides of the channel, in Guadeloupe and in Dominica, which is the very definition of a go between on this scene. This profile writes that sentence in the conditional for one simple reason: no document gives the civil identity behind the name, and two credits under one working name establish a continuity of signature, not a biography.

The detail of the team names calls for the same caution. Yung Pierre, the co-producer, and Cleverns Pierre, the mixer, carry the same family name in the credits: no source consulted says whether they are related, and this profile does not assume it. What is established is functional: on “Back Up Your Chat”, YoJoshii shares the production, the record is mixed and mastered by two other named hands, and the whole comes out in 2026 as a claimed Dominican bouyon record. It is, with “SEE U”, one of the only two productions the structured data of this page attributes to YoJoshii, and the only one of the two whose date, roles and studio are fully published.

The “Joshii” question: a neighbouring Miimii KDS credit, not merged

One trail remains, and this profile takes it head on instead of letting it feed confusion. On Deezer, the editorial playlist RAP ANTILLES 2026 files a record by Miimii KDS, “6 o’clock”, 2 minutes 4, written by Miimii KDS and composed by three names: Joshii, TitoWeGlobal and Jervon Henderson. Joshii, without the Yo. The question writes itself: is that Joshii the same producer as YoJoshii, credited in a short form? No source opened during this research says so. Neither the playlist listing, nor the “SEE U” and “Back Up Your Chat” files, nor any page consulted links the two spellings, and the two names share no documented artist, team or label in common.

The answer of this profile is therefore the only honest one: open trail, separate credit. “6 o’clock” does not enter the list of YoJoshii records carried by this page, nor its story as a fact. It enters as a documented question, because the two names are close, because the two scenes touch, Miimii KDS is a Guadeloupe bouyon artist followed by this site, and because a reader who crosses both credits should know that the link is established by nobody. If a source one day links the two spellings, this page will integrate the record with its date and its full credits, and will say so.

The other neighbouring names settle faster, and they are set aside here so the file stays clean. Yo Joshy is a Martinique shatta artist who sings his own records, among them “Hold Up”: a performer, not the production name of this profile, and no source links him to YoJoshii. Joshii G appears as the producer of a Vibez King video, in a jab and bouyon world of Grenada and Dominica: a different spelling, a different file, no published cross check. Those set asides are not judgements on those artists: they are acts of credit, of the same kind this site applies to all its producer pages, also to be read on our bouyon producers page.

That discipline has a price, and this profile accepts it: the YoJoshii file stays a two credit file. But it also has a benefit, which is the reason this page exists. The day a third credit under the exact name YoJoshii appears, it will be read here with no background noise, no records borrowed from namesakes, and with the same question asked of every line: who opened the source, and what exactly does it say.

The limits of the file, and how to hear the two records

The limits fit in a short list, which this profile would rather write than leave to guessing. No biography of YoJoshii is published in the sources consulted. No real name, no origin, no background and no training are documented. No artist page under his name was confirmed on the platforms, no interview was found, and no official account was verified by opening: the @YoJoshii handles read in the descriptions of the two videos are credits published by the artists, and this profile does not turn them into links, so the structured data of this page carries no external link. No listening counter is attached to the name. And the date of “SEE U” is not published on the page consulted, which makes “Back Up Your Chat”, in 2026, the only dated credit of the file.

Those limits do not empty the page of its meaning, they define it. Current bouyon works as an economy of credits where producers enter the studios of others, sign a production, and leave a trace that platforms and video credits keep better than biographies do. YoJoshii is a pure case of that economy, straddling both banks of the genre: the Guadeloupe of Pinpin OSP and VGM Product, the Dominica of Ebony Empress, Foxy Jael and Felix Studio. To document this name is to document the way bouyon circulates between the islands, through studios and technical teams, as much as through singers. The general context of the genre can be read on our bouyon soca page and in our bouyon playlist.

Listening to the file takes two records, both verified at the source. “SEE U”, by Pinpin OSP, through the official description of its video: production YoJoshii, direction Mproduction971, recording, mixing and mastering VGM Product. “Back Up Your Chat”, by Ebony Empress with Foxy Jael, through the Dominican press of May 15, 2026 and the official description of its video: production YoJoshii and Yung Pierre, mix Cleverns Pierre, master Khallion, writing Everlyne Leandra Walters and Aurelle Joseph, recording at Felix Studio. Two records, two teams, one single production name in common: that is little, it is verified, and it is exactly what this page claims to establish.

If YoJoshii one day publishes an artist page, a third credit or the smallest element of biography, this profile will be completed and dated like every page on this site. In the meantime, the safest entry point into his work stays “Back Up Your Chat”, the most complete credit, and the comparison with “SEE U”, which shows the same name at work in the other workshop, the Guadeloupe one. Two productions do not make a tellable career, but they make a file, and that file is now kept cleanly, separated from its namesakes, ready to grow credit line by credit line.

Frequently asked questions

Who is YoJoshii?

A bouyon producer documented by two verified credits, and by nothing else in the public sources consulted. He produces “SEE U” for Pinpin OSP, inside the VGM Product team in Guadeloupe, and he co-produces “Back Up Your Chat” for Ebony Empress and Foxy Jael with Yung Pierre, in Dominica, in 2026. No biography, no real name, no origin and no artist page under his name were found during this research.

Which records has YoJoshii produced?

Two records verified at the source. “SEE U”, by Pinpin OSP, whose official video description credits YoJoshii on production, Mproduction971 on direction and VGM Product on recording, mixing and mastering. And “Back Up Your Chat”, by Ebony Empress featuring Foxy Jael, produced by YoJoshii and Yung Pierre, mixed by Cleverns Pierre, mastered by Khallion and recorded at Felix Studio, announced by the Dominican press on May 15, 2026.

What does “Back Up Your Chat” owe to YoJoshii?

Its production, shared with Yung Pierre. According to Black Island Girl Multimedia and the official video description, the Ebony Empress and Foxy Jael record, written by Everlyne Leandra Walters and Aurelle Joseph and recorded at Felix Studio, is produced by YoJoshii and Yung Pierre, mixed by Cleverns Pierre and mastered by Khallion. Ebony Empress said it was the first song she ever created, modernised years later.

Has YoJoshii produced other Pinpin OSP records?

None other was verified. The listings of the Pinpin OSP catalog singles on VGM PRODUCT consulted for this profile, “Make it pop” with Edday in 2023 and “On Fwa” with Shanika in 2024, credit other composers, Luchshiy and YasBeats depending on the record, and do not name YoJoshii. His only confirmed credit with that artist is the production of the “SEE U” video.

Are YoJoshii and the Joshii of Miimii KDS “6 o’clock” the same producer?

That is established by no source consulted. Deezer credits “6 o’clock”, by Miimii KDS, to three composers: Joshii, TitoWeGlobal and Jervon Henderson, in a spelling shorter than YoJoshii. No document links the two spellings, which share no documented artist or team. This profile therefore leaves the question open and does not attribute “6 o’clock” to YoJoshii.

Why is this profile so short on YoJoshii?

Because the public file is. Two verified production credits, no biography, no interview, no confirmed artist page: this profile publishes the two credits in detail, with their teams, their dates where they exist and their sources, it separates the name from its neighbours, Yo Joshy, Joshii G and the Joshii of Miimii KDS, and it refuses to fill the blanks by invention. It will be completed as soon as a new source appears.
