Lewismelo: the solo album of the duo producer
Published October 20, 2026
Lewismelo is the artist name of Lewis Wayne Campbell, the producing half of the duo Dcamp & Lewismelo. This profile does not tell the duo story: it tells the man alone at the top of the bill, because the platforms allow it. Under his name only, Lewismelo released a single as early as 2023, “Clean Body”, then a full album, “Premières Notes”, released on November 1, 2024 on his own label, Lewismeloproduction, eight tracks on which he hosts in turn Admiral T, Shanika, Dcamp, KEKS MAFIA, Lejuh and other voices of the Guadeloupe scene. Add to that two singles co-billed with Admiral T, “On ti rhum” and “FVCK YOU”, and composer credits on the Admiral T album “MAESTRO”. Here, track by track, is the verified solo record of Lewismelo, kept separate from the shared catalogue, and what that record says about his place in bouyon today.
Why a solo profile: the name Lewismelo exists without the duo
On this site, Lewismelo first appears inside a compound name: Dcamp & Lewismelo, the Campbell brother duo, Dylan Davis Campbell and Lewis Wayne Campbell, whose track “BOUYON” serves as a manifesto. The Dcamp profile has already shown that Dylan also exists as a lead artist, with “TOURNEVIS”. This profile does the same work for Lewis, and the file is fuller: where Dcamp holds one title under his own name, Lewismelo holds a full album, an earlier single and two singles co-billed with one of the biggest names in the French Antilles.
The reading rule is billing, meaning the name that carries the title in the platform databases. Solo here means any title billed to Lewismelo alone as lead artist, or co-billed “Admiral T & Lewismelo”, where his name appears without the duo name. Excluded from this profile are therefore the “Dcamp & Lewismelo” titles, already told on the duo page, even when his own label, Lewismeloproduction, releases them, as with “BAY LA BÈT” in January 2025. That discipline avoids telling the same story twice and lets us measure what the Lewismelo name weighs, alone, in the catalogues.
The result draws a different profile from the duo one. Inside the tandem, Lewis Campbell is the man of the riddims: the official video descriptions credit him with composition while the lyrics are signed by two pens. Solo, he becomes the host: “Premières Notes” is built like a producer album that receives, track after track, the voices of its scene. And in co-billing with Admiral T, he climbs one more step, that of a sustained collaboration with a historic figure of Antillean dancehall, presented by NRJ Antilles as a father and son pairing, in the radio station own wording, which this profile quotes as such.
This profile rests on the platform listings, Deezer and Shazam, opened track by track, on the presentation published by NRJ Antilles and on the credits of the videos and albums concerned. It holds neither a date of birth nor a place of birth, because no source consulted publishes them for Lewismelo. It starts where the public record starts: with the records.
Clean Body: the 2023 single that opens the solo counter
The first title billed to Lewismelo alone is “Clean Body”, released as a single on October 24, 2023 under the Dcampproduction label, according to the listing published by Shazam. The title is a crossed feature: Lewismelo as lead artist, Dcamp as guest. The listing gives a tempo of 160 beats per minute, the fast tempo of dance bouyon, and the composition and lyrics credits name Lewis Wayne Campbell and Dylan Davis Campbell, the two usual signatures of the Campbell house.
This single matters for three reasons. First, it predates the album: the solo career of Lewismelo does not begin with “Premières Notes”, it begins a year earlier, with a single title that tests the name at the top of the bill. Second, it shows that the duo flexible billing is no accident: from 2023, each of the two Campbells can carry a title while the other enters as a feature, and the label choice, here Dcampproduction for a Lewismelo title, proves that the two release structures work as a shared pool rather than as separate territories.
Finally, “Clean Body” fixes the sound of the solo side: a fast bouyon, in French and Creole, written by two pens but conceived by the producer. When the album arrives a year later, it does not start from zero: it extends a format already tested as a single, that of the short, dancing track built around an invitation or a guest vocal signature. The listener who wants to hear Lewismelo before the album therefore starts there, then moves to the introduction of “Premières Notes”, which carries his sole writer signature.
Premières Notes: the producer album, track by track
“Premières Notes” was released on November 1, 2024, under the Lewismeloproduction label, according to the album listing published by Deezer. Eight tracks, a little over twenty minutes in total: the format is that of a scene album, dense and without filler, where every track also works as a party track. The album title states the programme: first notes, in the sense of a first solo chapter, laid down by a producer who already holds a duo catalogue and opens his own register here.
The album opens and closes on the signature of the host. The first track, “INTRO”, 1 minute 16, is written and composed by Lewis Wayne Campbell alone. The last one, “THANK YOU”, 1 minute 43, carries the same single signature. Between those two brackets, Lewismelo almost never sings alone: he hosts. It is the classic structure of the producer album, and it is assumed from the track listing itself, where six of the eight tracks carry features.
The second track, “5 KILOS”, brings together Admiral T and Shanika, with writing and composition credits in the names of Christy Campbell, the civil name of Admiral T, and Maëva Alphonse, the credit name of Shanika. The third, “VIN TCHEK NOU”, 3 minutes 17, calls in three guest voices, Le Bluff, Leyou and Tedla, and its credits name Youri Ellapin, Keran Landre and Ted Clarin. The fourth, “POMPÉ”, brings in Dcamp and KEKS MAFIA, with writing shared between Lewis Wayne Campbell, Dylan Davis Campbell and Kevin Lennard: it is the track where the duo and the Dominican rapper meet inside the solo album.
The second half of the album widens the circle further. “ALOUETTE”, with Lejuh, is the shortest of the sung tracks, 1 minute 56, written and composed by Julio Jordan Polydamas. “KEY”, with Virtuose, 3 minutes 43, the longest track on the album, is signed Yann-Yves Milon. “HULLABALOO”, with Jixels, 2 minutes 54, is signed Jonathan Elusca. That distribution of credits is instructive: on his own album, Lewismelo leaves the writing of several tracks to his guests, and keeps for himself the frame, the production and the two signature tracks. The album therefore documents a network as much as a man: the bouyon scene of Guadeloupe and its extensions, photographed in eight tracks in the autumn of 2024.
Admiral T and Lewismelo: On ti rhum, FVCK YOU and the work for MAESTRO
The heaviest collaboration in the Lewismelo solo file does not appear on his album: it runs in parallel, in singles co-billed with Admiral T. The Admiral T artist page on Shazam lists “On ti rhum”, a 2024 single billed “Admiral T & Lewismelo”, and “FVCK YOU”, a single billed the same way. On “5 KILOS”, Admiral T was the guest of Lewismelo; on these two singles, the two names share the top of the bill, without Dcamp and without the duo name. In the databases, that is the signature of a pairing in its own right.
NRJ Antilles presented “On ti rhum” to its audience as a new record signed “Admiral T & Lewis son fils”, Admiral T and Lewis his son, in the radio station exact wording, speaking of a fresh sound that sets the mood ahead of the holidays, and noting that the video images come largely from the Festival Terre de Blues. This profile reports that presentation for what it is: the wording of a reference regional radio, which describes Lewismelo as the son of Admiral T. The credits tell the same closeness through names: Admiral T publishes under the civil name Christy Campbell, and the two artists share, in the databases, the Campbell name, without this profile needing to add anything to what the radio and the credits already publish.
For “FVCK YOU”, the most precise trace comes from the official Admiral T account on TikTok, which presents the track with the credit “Prod by @lewismelo971” and the keywords Titan Riddim and One Riddim. In other words, on this single, Lewismelo is not only a vocal co-signatory: he is the producer of the riddim. That is the role he holds inside the duo, carried here into the service of an artist of another generation, and that is what turns this collaboration into a documented passing of the torch rather than a simple catalogue feature.
There is a third configuration, halfway between the two: “Sòti Gwadloup”, a 2024 single listed on the Admiral T artist page, where the four names Admiral T, Dcamp, Lejuh and Lewismelo are billed one by one, and not under the duo name. Lewismelo therefore appears there under his own name, alongside his partner credited separately: one more proof that, in the databases, his name works as an autonomous signature, detachable from the tandem when the records require it.
The same role can be read, in composer credits, on “MAESTRO”, the Admiral T album released on February 1, 2025 under the ELITE BASE label. The album listing published by Deezer credits Lewis Campbell as composer on three tracks: “MY FAMILY”, “NOU PAKA BA FANM KOU” and “DÈVIZ AN MWEN”, the last one written by Christy Campbell and Shannon Renciot. A producer of the bouyon generation who composes for the Admiral T album, co-signs two singles with him and hosts him on his own album: the solo file of Lewismelo is, in large part, the story of this working relationship, and it is what separates him most clearly from his duo partner.
The producer behind the names: labels, signatures and method
The solo file of Lewismelo can also be read through its structures. His album came out on Lewismeloproduction, the label that carries his name and that also released, in January 2025, the duo single “BAY LA BÈT”. In mirror, his first solo single came out on Dcampproduction, his partner label. That circulation of titles between the two labels states a method: the Campbells manage their catalogue like a shared house under two signs, and the artist billing, rather than the label, is the true marker of who carries a title.
The writer signature follows the same sharing logic, with one exception that confirms the rule. On “Clean Body” as on “POMPÉ”, Lewis Wayne Campbell writes with Dylan Davis Campbell. On “INTRO” and “THANK YOU”, he writes alone, and those are the only two tracks on the album without a guest. The producer who hosts everyone on his album therefore keeps the opening and the closing for himself: a way of signing the frame before handing the floor to the guests, and of closing the album on his own name.
That method sheds light on the place of Lewismelo in bouyon today. The genre was born in Dominica, with the live bands of Roseau, and its history of bouyon page tells that starting point. The Lewismelo generation works differently: in the studio, through riddims, in a network of guests between Guadeloupe, Martinique and Dominica, with short tracks built for the platforms and the parties. “Premières Notes” is a document of that shift: a bouyon album whose lead author is a producer, whose singers rotate from track to track, and whose coherence comes from the sound and the frame rather than from a single voice.
To hear this solo side in order, start with “Clean Body” for the founding single, then “Premières Notes” in full, then the two singles with Admiral T, “On ti rhum” and “FVCK YOU”. Our bouyon playlist then places those tracks back inside the full scene, and our bouyon Guadeloupe page tells the territory this guest network started from.
What this profile knows, and what it still awaits
This profile can state, listings in hand, that Lewismelo, Lewis Wayne Campbell, released under his own name the single “Clean Body” on October 24, 2023, the album “Premières Notes” on November 1, 2024 on Lewismeloproduction, with eight tracks and guests named one by one above, and two singles co-billed with Admiral T, “On ti rhum” in 2024 and “FVCK YOU”. It can state that he is credited as composer, under the name Lewis Campbell, on three tracks of the Admiral T album “MAESTRO” in 2025, and that NRJ Antilles presented “On ti rhum” as the record of Admiral T and Lewis, his son, in the radio station wording.
This profile cannot state the biographical elements that the sources consulted do not publish: neither the date nor the place of birth of Lewismelo, nor a path before the first documented tracks of 2023, nor a solo discography earlier than “Clean Body”. If an older title billed to Lewismelo alone exists in the catalogues, it was not found during this research, and no title is therefore invented to push the chronology back. In the same way, no official Lewismelo account was verified by direct opening during this research: the handle lewismelo971 appears in the production credit of “FVCK YOU” published by the Admiral T account, but a mention inside a third party post is not verification of a profile, and the structured data of this page therefore links to no social network.
What remains is the trajectory, which reads clearly and rises. In a little over a year, the Lewismelo name moved from a crossed single with his duo partner to a producer album, then to a sustained co-billing with Admiral T and to compositions on the Admiral T album itself. Few artists of Guadeloupe bouyon present, in the public databases, a solo side this distinct from their main project. The next releases will say whether “Premières Notes” was a single chapter or the first of a series: this profile will follow the billings, track by track, as always.

Did Lewismelo release solo titles before his album?
Yes. His single “Clean Body”, with Dcamp as a feature, was released on October 24, 2023 under the Dcampproduction label, according to Shazam, at 160 BPM, with Lewis Wayne Campbell and Dylan Davis Campbell on the writing credits. It is the first verified title billed to Lewismelo alone as lead artist.
Which titles did Lewismelo sign with Admiral T?
Two singles are billed “Admiral T & Lewismelo” on the Admiral T artist page: “On ti rhum”, in 2024, and “FVCK YOU”, whose production the official Admiral T account credits to Lewismelo, on the Titan Riddim. Admiral T is also the guest of Lewismelo on “5 KILOS”, on the album “Premières Notes”.
Is Lewismelo the son of Admiral T?
NRJ Antilles presented “On ti rhum” as a record signed “Admiral T & Lewis son fils”, Admiral T and Lewis his son, in the radio station wording. That is the formulation published by a reference regional radio, and this profile reports it as such. The credits confirm the working closeness: Admiral T publishes under the civil name Christy Campbell, writes “5 KILOS” on the Lewismelo album, and Lewismelo composes three tracks of the Admiral T album “MAESTRO”.
Did Lewismelo compose for the Admiral T album?
Yes. On “MAESTRO”, the Admiral T album released on February 1, 2025 under ELITE BASE, the Deezer listing credits Lewis Campbell as composer on “MY FAMILY”, “NOU PAKA BA FANM KOU” and “DÈVIZ AN MWEN”. That is a producer side of his solo file, distinct from his own titles.
Where should I start listening to Lewismelo solo?
Start with “Clean Body” for the first single, then hear “Premières Notes” in full, from “INTRO” to “THANK YOU”, then “On ti rhum” and “FVCK YOU” with Admiral T. The duo catalogue is on the Dcamp & Lewismelo page, and our bouyon playlist places it all back inside the full scene.
