DJ Killerz: the producer behind the La Véwité bouyon remix
Published October 20, 2026
DJ Killerz is a DJ and producer from the French Antilles circuit, whose platform credits give his civil name consistently: Harry Caumartin, or Caumartin Harry depending on the order of the listings. He is not a career bouyon producer, and this profile says so at the door. His place on this site rests on a single gesture, but a gesture signed in three roles at once: on “La Véwité (Remix Bouyon)”, a single by DJ Killerz and Lu City released on March 6, 2024 on UpFull Music according to Shazam, he is credited as remixer, vocals and producer, after already producing the original version of the song in November 2023. The rest of his catalog, dense and regular, from the dancehall of “Comptine Pour Pussy” with Kalash in 2019 to the afro house records announced for 2026, serves here as context: it shows the kind of producer who made this detour through bouyon, and it is never refiled as bouyon. This profile tells the man of the credits, the song, the remix, then the limits of a file deliberately kept to what is verified.
Who DJ Killerz is: Harry Caumartin, a name that returns in every credit
The most solid point of the DJ Killerz file is not a biography, it is a signature. On his Deezer artist page, opened for this profile, almost every single listing credits him as writer and composer under the name Harry Caumartin, sometimes reversed as Caumartin Harry: “Body”, “Wukkup”, “When the Night Come”, “Carnival Joke”, and on to “La Véwité” and its remix, where composition is in the name of Caumartin Harry. When the same civil name returns like that across years of listings, on several banners and for several performers, the identification is reasonable: DJ Killerz is the stage and production name of Harry Caumartin. This profile stops there for civil identity: no primary source opened gives his birthplace or his training path, and none of that will be invented here.
The geographical attachment calls for the same care. The official “La Véwité” video, on the Lu City channel, gives his Instagram account in the form djkillerz972: 972 is the Martinique code, and the 2019 record that links him to Kalash, “Comptine Pour Pussy”, carries the keywords Martinique, dancehall and Jamaica in its YouTube listing. His verified collaborations place him in the same landscape: Kalash, Were-vana and Shannon, Don Njano, Shanel Hill, names of the French Antilles circuit and its diasporas. The exact formulation, and the one used on this site, is therefore the following: a DJ and producer of the France and French Antilles circuit, whose opened credits sketch a Martinique anchoring without any primary source fixing his current home base. The aggregator portraits that describe him as a French reggaeton and Latin musician served the discovery of the name, not the facts of this profile.
His role, on the other hand, is clear in the metadata: he is a producer who works for voices as much as under his own name. His Deezer page mixes singles signed DJ Killerz and records sung by others, Shanel Hill on “Tu as volé”, Don Njano on “Shatta Ting”, Edna Djabara on the “Sweet Dream” listing, where he appears in the discography without being the front performer. That workshop position, writing and producing for a network of performers, is the key to his story with Lu City: “La Véwité” was born in his workshop before becoming an album record for the duo.
“La Véwité”: the original production, November 2023
The first documented meeting between DJ Killerz and Lu City is a single of November 24, 2023, “La Véwité”. The Deezer listing shows it under the DJ KILLERZ banner, at two minutes and seven seconds, with three writers, Caumartin Harry, Jean Atem Farah and Tylor Ryie Auguste, and Caumartin Harry as composer. The split is readable: the two members of the Saint Lucian duo, LUJA and Ryie, sign the lyrics, and the producer signs the music. The title, in Saint Lucia Creole, says the truth, and the song then circulates inside the duo catalog, which takes it into its album “I Miss You” in April 2024.
The official video, published on the Lu City channel, gives the full manufacturing credits: lyrics by Tylor “Ryie” Auguste and Jean Atem Farah, production by DJ Killerz, direction by Jima Janor, engineer Shaquille “Delete” Wilkinson, the in-house producer Saint Lucian press already cited around the duo in 2020. The video keywords say Saint Lucia, afrobeat, dancehall and Caribbean. The original version therefore presents itself as an afrobeat and dancehall record produced by a French Antilles workshop for a Saint Lucia duo: a collaboration of islands and circuits, before any question of the bouyon genre.
That starting point matters for judging the remix. DJ Killerz is no outside remixer called in on an unknown song: he is the producer of the original, the composer of its music and the banner of its first release. When he reissues the record four months later under a new genre label, he works on his own material, with the same writers in the credits. The bouyon remix of “La Véwité” is a gesture by an author producer, not a commissioned exercise, and that is also why its Shazam credits place him in three posts at once.
The March 6, 2024 “Remix Bouyon”: remixer, vocals and producer
“La Véwité (Remix Bouyon)” appeared on March 6, 2024. Shazam, on the page opened for this profile, presents it as a single released on UpFull Music, sung in English according to its language metadata, at 114 BPM. Deezer, on the pages of both artists, gives a length of two minutes and thirteen seconds, six seconds more than the original, and a release credit in the DJ KILLERZ name: the two platforms therefore disagree on the banner, UpFull Music on Shazam, the producer name on Deezer, and this profile flags the gap without settling it. The writers are unchanged: Caumartin Harry, Jean Atem Farah and Tylor Ryie Auguste.
The performing credits tell the content of the gesture. Shazam credits DJ Killerz as remixer, as vocals and as producer, and Lu City as performer. The producer therefore did not content himself with changing the rhythm under an existing voice: he enters the record himself as a voice, alongside the duo that remains the reference performer. And the label sits in the very title of the single, “Remix Bouyon”, carried by the metadata of two platforms: it is a filing claimed by the release, not a resemblance noted after the fact by a DJ or an aggregator. On this site, that is the criterion that counts, and it is the only record in the opened DJ Killerz catalog that meets it.
What the remix is not must also be measured. At 114 BPM according to Shazam, it stays at the tempo of a danceable pop song, far from the fastest tempos of the Dominican bouyon records followed on this site, and its near identical length to the original points to a rhythmic reframing more than a rebuild. The gesture is nonetheless documentable and dated, and it links three scenes at once: a Saint Lucia duo, a producer from the French Antilles circuit, and the label of a genre born in Dominica. Our bouyon remix page places that kind of passage inside the history of reworks and rereadings of the genre, and the duo page, Lu City, tells the other half of the song.
The Kalash thread: from “Comptine Pour Pussy” to “Interlude 18h33”
The heaviest name in the DJ Killerz network, in the sources opened, is that of Kalash. In June 2019 a YouTube video titled “DJ Killerz x KALASH, Comptine Pour Pussy (Robin Wood Riddim)” appeared, with illustration by Rich’Art and animation by Austin Phillips; its keywords say Kalash, Martinique, dancehall and Jamaica. The record belongs to the French Antilles dancehall world, carried by a named riddim, Robin Wood Riddim, and it shows that by 2019 the producer already worked with the most exposed voice of Martinique. That record has nothing bouyon about it and this profile does not file it as such: it serves to date and locate the workshop.
Seven years later, the thread reappears in the most recent Deezer credits: “Interlude 18h33”, listed on June 11, 2026 under the MWAKA MOON and PLAY TWO banners, credits Kalash as performer and gives Kalash and DJ Killerz as writers. A twenty two second interlude does not make a record, but the shared writing credit tells the length of the working relationship: the same pair, producer and voice, from the 2019 dancehall video to an album interlude in 2026. For a file with no official biography, those two verified markers are worth more than an invented portrait: they show a producer durably inserted in the first circle of Martinique dancehall and shatta.
The rest of the recent catalog, as Deezer lines it up, confirms a very active workshop turned toward the party sounds of the French Antilles. “Wou’lib”, on February 14, 2025, with Were-vana and Shannon, co-written by Shannon Renciot, Harry Caumartin and Geoffroy Evariste. “Shatta Ting”, sung by Don Njano and released on UpFull Music on December 25, 2025, a record whose very name claims shatta, the Martinique cousin that our bouyon vs shatta page compares with bouyon without confusing them. “Carnival Joke” and “DON KARNIVALERZ” in February 2025, with carnival season titles. Then, in 2026, a run under an assumed family name: “WUKKUP” in June, and a cluster of records labelled afro house, “KUMINA (AFRO HOUSE 2026)”, “Soul City (AFRO HOUSE 2026)”, “Homie Go Nowhere”, and “Body” in October, all written and composed by Harry Caumartin. None of these records is presented as bouyon by its listing: they draw the context of a dancehall, shatta and afro house producer who passed once, explicitly, through bouyon.
The UpFull Music thread and the work for other voices
One banner returns often enough in the opened listings to deserve its own paragraph: UpFull Music, also spelled Upfull Music depending on the listing. Shazam gives it as the label of the “Remix Bouyon” of March 6, 2024. Deezer finds it again on Don Njano “Shatta Ting” in December 2025 and on Shanel Hill “Tu as volé”, released on February 12, 2026 with composition by Yves Bazin Joseph and Harry Caumartin. In other words, the banner that carries the DJ Killerz bouyon release also carries part of his production work for other performers, in the shatta and song registers of the French Antilles circuit. This profile does not know, from an opened primary source, who runs that banner or what its exact legal link with the producer is, and it does not invent it: it notes the recurrence of the name on his own listings.
That work for others is the second constant of the catalog. On the single Deezer page opened, DJ Killerz appears in the discography of records sung by Don Njano, Shanel Hill and Edna Djabara, on top of his own name singles and his billed collaborations with Kalash, Were-vana, Shannon and Lu City. The mechanics are those of a circuit producer: compose, have it sung, release on nearby banners, and keep the Harry Caumartin signature in the writing credits of almost every listing. “La Véwité” fits exactly into those mechanics, with one particularity: the song produced for Lu City was then adopted by the duo into its own album, the sign of a record that outgrew the status of a passing production.
The background genre question remains. The aggregator portraits, used here for discovery only, class him in reggaeton and Latin; his primary listings, for their part, show dancehall in 2019, shatta in 2025, song work for other voices and labelled afro house in 2026. The description most faithful to the opened primary sources is therefore that of a party music producer from the French Antilles circuit, mobile between dancehall, shatta and afro house, one of whose singles of March 2024 carries the bouyon label. Any narrower filing, including that of bouyon producer, would be an invention this site refuses.
Exact position, and the limits of a thin file
DJ Killerz position can be summed up in one sentence verified end to end. Harry Caumartin, DJ and producer of the France and French Antilles circuit, active at least since 2019 alongside Kalash, producer and composer of “La Véwité” for the Saint Lucian duo Lu City in November 2023, then remixer, vocals and producer of its “Remix Bouyon” version on March 6, 2024, in the middle of a dancehall, shatta and afro house catalog that claims no other bouyon record. Bouyon was born in Dominica, and bouyon soca was started by Dada in 2003 in Dominica per the first hand testimony of Sean “Smokiller” Francis: the DJ Killerz remix is a declared borrowing from that tradition by an outside producer, labelled as such on the single, and it is exactly on that ground, and that ground only, that it is documented here.
The limits of the file are many and this profile owns them. No official biography, no interview and no written artist page was opened during this research: the identity rests on platform credits, repeated and coherent, and the geographical attachment on an account code, 972, video keywords and a network of collaborations, not on a statement by the artist. The remix listings disagree on the banner, UpFull Music on Shazam, DJ KILLERZ on Deezer. The catalog before 2023 is documented here only by the 2019 video with Kalash, and part of the most recent Deezer catalog carries 2026 dates that the listings show without context. The track list in the structured data of this page therefore holds a single record, the bouyon remix, and nothing else.
For accurate listening, start with the two versions of “La Véwité”, the November 2023 original then the March 6, 2024 “Remix Bouyon”, continue with “Comptine Pour Pussy” with Kalash for the 2019 dancehall side, “Wou’lib” and “Shatta Ting” for the shatta circuit, and “WUKKUP” for the recent workshop. Then cross to the Lu City page for the biography of the performing duo, the bouyon soca page for the tradition the remix borrows its label from, and our bouyon playlist for the Dominican side of the genre.

Frequently asked questions
What is DJ Killerz real name?
Harry Caumartin, according to the writing and composition credits of his Deezer listings, where the name returns on almost every single, sometimes reversed as Caumartin Harry, including as composer of “La Véwité” and its remix. No official biography opened during this research gives further civil details, and this profile sticks to that credit signature.
Where does DJ Killerz come from?
The primary sources opened sketch a France and French Antilles circuit, without fixing a biography. The official “La Véwité” video gives his Instagram account in the form djkillerz972, whose 972 points to Martinique, and his 2019 video with Kalash carries the keywords Martinique and dancehall. His verified collaborations, Kalash, Were-vana, Don Njano, Lu City, belong to the same French Antilles and Caribbean landscape. His birthplace and home base are not documented by an opened primary source here.
What is DJ Killerz link with bouyon?
A single record, but in three roles: “La Véwité (Remix Bouyon)”, with Lu City, released on March 6, 2024, where Shazam credits him as remixer, vocals and producer. He had already produced and composed the original version of the song, released on November 24, 2023. No other record in his catalog opened on Deezer is labelled bouyon: the rest belongs to dancehall, shatta and afro house, presented here as context.
Has DJ Killerz worked with Kalash?
Yes, at two verified markers. A June 2019 YouTube video, “DJ Killerz x KALASH, Comptine Pour Pussy (Robin Wood Riddim)”, bills them together in a dancehall register with Martinique keywords. And the Deezer listing of “Interlude 18h33”, in June 2026, credits Kalash as performer with Kalash and DJ Killerz as writers. Between the two, this profile documents no other shared record from a primary source.
What is UpFull Music in this file?
UpFull Music, also spelled Upfull Music depending on the listing, is the banner Shazam gives as the label of the “Remix Bouyon” of March 6, 2024. Deezer finds it again on Don Njano “Shatta Ting” in 2025 and on Shanel Hill “Tu as volé” in 2026, two productions where Harry Caumartin is credited. The exact legal link between the banner and the producer is not established by an opened primary source, and this profile notes the recurrence without interpreting it.
Where can I hear DJ Killerz?
Through the two versions of “La Véwité”, the November 2023 original and the March 6, 2024 “Remix Bouyon”, then through “Comptine Pour Pussy” with Kalash, “Wou’lib” with Were-vana and Shannon, “Shatta Ting” sung by Don Njano and “WUKKUP”. His artist page is open on Deezer, linked in the data of this page. The performing duo of the remix has its profile on the Lu City page, and the Dominican side of bouyon is followed in our bouyon playlist.
